Abandoned with a Dalish clan soon after their birth, Mahin was raised no different than any other Dalish child of their clan. Growing up entirely free of the Qun and it's influence, Mahin is unlike the majority of their race, and view themself as entirely Dalish, if not actually one of the people.
[Defensive] I'm not Qunari. I'm Dalish. I was born Dalish, I grew up Dalish, my parents are Dalish. I know who I am, shemlen, don't try and tell me otherwise.
[Soft and content] My mother first called me 'Da'Halla' when my horns started to grow in. I remember they were itchy, and I complained endlessly, but when she called me her little halla I didn't feel so alone. They saw me as a blessing, not a burden.
