Shu is a supporting antagonist, and is both a subordinate and wife to Li.
She's the units mother; she's both supporting and strict, providing the heart of the antagonist camp.
Her attitude scares her superiors too, with her wife and brother, Li and Ling knowing better than to cross her.
Her development involves questioning the Empire's motives and growing closer to the main cast.
