Valerian is a vampire. He’s an old naive poet that shook hands with the devil for immortality after the crash. Then being granted the “honor” of being a vampire. He is the most serious of the bunch, simply wanting to find his way back home. He is someone that isn’t afraid to speak his mind, even if it is a blunt and honest truth. He wants the best for his people, and will sacrifice everything for them in a heartbeat. He’s just an old sad vampire that desperately needs a hug.
[annoyed, tired] “I’ve been around here since the beginning of time, Raine. Things don’t get solved with friendship and a smile.”
[Focused, serious] “It’s my therapy, writing is. To be able to get my words on paper, my thoughts, and have people want to read them. I just wish I had an audience...”
