(Note: Although Kopeke is canonically male, I have left the role open to both male and female actors, since female actors, at least in my personal opinion, can do very convincing "young boy" voices, and I didn't want any prospective female actors to be put off by the character's canonical gender.)
Kopeke (pronounced ko-PEH-kay) is an ice carver from Ko-Koro, renowned for building bridges and ice sculptures in honour of Toa Kopaka.
On the surface, Kopeke is considered cold and aloof even by Ko-Matoran standards; he doesn’t speak very often, and his outward attitude rarely comes close to friendly. However, in reality he is merely shy, and his silence is due to him being tentative to engage in conversation. Despite this, he is still a loyal friend, and his skill in Ice carving is unmatched.
I do not wish to be questioned. If you seek answers, do so in Ko-Koro. There you will find mediation and contemplation. It is Turaga Nuju’s way to think on all things, and from his Sanctum on Ihu’s peak one can see far ahead and far behind.
The Makuta lead them into the ice, and I fear they will not return. Had you not come and saved me, I would be facing a similar fate.
In Ko-Koro we respect knowledge above all things. You must have great knowledge even to step foot within it.
