P4GR: Central Cast
Jordan Tae for Yu Narukami
Yu Narukami is a quiet, well-mannered young man who acts as the centerpiece of the Investigation Team. Despite his usual deadpan expression and mature demeanor, he is the most vocal about his beliefs in often "childish" concepts such as Friendship and Bonds. For this reason, he is able to make friends with others rather easily.
I'm not going to be unrealistic and ask for a perfect Johnny Yong Bosch impression. All I ask is that the voice at least sounds relatively fitting for Yu's character. If you would like to attempt a Johnny Yong Bosch impression, here's a link for reference.

You do NOT have to audition for Adachi as well. If you decide to, though, I ask that your voices for Yu and Adachi be similar to one another, but distinct enough to tell apart.
"You liked her, right? Saki, I mean. Then isn't that proof enough?"
"Calm the hell down, Yosuke!"
"People can do it. As long as they open their eyes and look around, they'll see it. They'll see the truth! If there is a fog, they just have to embrace the truth to get rid of it! This is what's right, and this is the path I choose to follow!"
You're reaching pretty close to what I'm looking for. With the "Calm the hell down, Yosuke!" line, I'd like you to put in some more emotion if you can. That moment is meant to be the first time Yu has shown any genuine anger towards the party and should stand out amongst all of his lines. Otherwise, you're doing rather well. A tool I would also suggest is to smoothen out the lines surrounding it so that the line almost seems out of place in the audition, almost like it was uncharacteristically emotional for him.
And towards the end with the final speech, you were getting rather close to the build-up I was wanting. Think of it as a big crescendo in a music piece. You've fallen down and have nearly lost: But you're slowly starting to rise with your newfound strength, and by the end, you're standing before your greatest foe with that power even shining through in your demeanor.
Thank you for the feedback! I'll be sure to have a retake later today.
