For this role we are looking for a low pitch.
While it is not required, we are also looking for those who can pull off a New Yorker accent. For Q-taro we believe that fits him best!
While he doesn't initially appear to be much more than friendly and easygoing, Q-taro can be selfish and interested in his own survival over most other things in the Death Game. He is often attracted to anything that would secure his life and rarely acts in the interest of others during the Death Game.
Further contrasting his appearance, Q-taro is actually rather intelligent. While probably not academically gifted, Q-taro is good with people and can make them act in ways that benefit him.

"Yeah I'm a ballplayer, but if ya work out too much and hurt
'cherself, you'll never hit the big leagues!"(Sara asked where Q-taro was from, he's explaining)
"No kiddin' , what is it indeed? Grew up in in a strange orphanage, so prolly it's a mix. But it was in Japan, so that's my nationality! ..Parents left when I was li'l, though, and I dunno where I was born."
