Will, aka the King of Spiders, is one of the commanders of the Black Mage. From what is known of Will's past, he spent much of his time studying the Black Mage's plans before his resurrection, trying to understand his true purpose. Eventually he figured out that the Black Mage's true goal was to recreate the world without Transcendents, which would potentially lead to a perfect world with infinite knowledge. Intrigued by this, Will joined the Black mage, becoming one of his most trusted commanders. His major contribution was to help seal the goddess and Transcendent of time, Rhinne, and trap her in Mirror World preventing her from awakening. Rhinne's tear however would create a new Transcendent to be, named Zero. Will would separate this being into one male and one female, taking the boy for himself, and create a ruse to distract the boy from discovering the girl and becoming a Transcendent. Eventually, the boy would learn he was being brainwashed, and that he was living in a ruse, and was able to reach the Umbra Temple, where Will was conjuring the ruse, in time. The boy finds the girl and frees her, but is confronted and defeated by Will. Now reunited, the boy and girl become Zero Alpha and Zero Beta, Transcendants of Time. During their third battle with Will, and the goddess Rhinne freeing herself from his control, Will is defeated, but he escapes. Will later appears in the arc Esfera, seeking to use the powers of a girl named Tana for a ritual, where the Black Mage would absorb her powers, giving him the ability to reshape the world in his image. Will succeeds before retreating into the deepest part of Mirror World, awaiting the creation of a new world, which unfortunately for him doesn't transpire as the Alliance defeat the Black Mage for good. But Will's involvement doesn't stop there, as his studies prove that even with the Black Mage gone, his influence is not so easily extinguished...
