Unpaid
Role assigned to: Tyler M. Frye

Name: Atticus

Class: Sniper, Tactician

Likes: Solitude, sleeping, bow tuning

Appearance: Wavy, cowlicked hair. As a slim man, the Ylissean uniform often appears to be too loose for him. Atticus wears a hip quiver, a finger tab, an arm guard, and a pair of black boots.

Atticus is the second-in-command of the Ylissean camp and Riza’s right-hand man. Alongside being an experienced archer, his intelligence and intuition have rightfully earned him the role of the camp’s tactician. May also be narcoleptic, but has yet to be diagnosed.

  • (Yawning) It's afternoon already? But I only fell asleep for a few minutes...

  • You... You interrupted my precious slumber. And for that, you will pay.

  • Only shoot with an arrow nocked! Don't dry-fire or else you'll risk damage to the bow, and most importantly, yourself.

Are you recording directly from a computer? If so, I am looking for actors who have access to a microphone and don't have much background noise.

No, I am not recording directly from the computer. I am using a microphone.

Check if your audio input displays your microphone and matches up once connected. For a visual of what the indicator was to me, take a look at the sound waves of the other auditions.

I think I understand and Thank you for your contribution as I am very new to voice acting and knowing the equipment I use for it. What I'm seeing from your context is that I have background noise and possibly the mic is not aligned with my DAW. Also, I see the difference in my sound waves compared to auditions so thank you for that observation! I've been told about my microphone being too loud. Lastly, I have to purchase an XLR to help manage the background noise. Let me know, if you like, to confirm if I got your communication 🙏🏻

Correct. I recommend aligning audio inputs in your DAW first since that is the main dilemma. USB microphones will have a degree of background noise picked up, but that goes for any microphone, even XLR. Sound treating your space will get you far enough for now.

Hi, Astrid, I want to take a moment to thank you again for your awesome and constructive feedback! This was a late reply that I meant to send you after your last response 😊
