Audition lines have changed since Lawliet has now appeared in the story. No need to re-audition, just a heads-up.
Story bio: Lawliet is a detective who is brought back with the Death Eraser. He helps Near in his search for Kira and is quick to deduce that Kage is who they are looking for. He is rather protective of Yoru (his biological younger brother, despite their lack of strong history together) and he is often disturbed by memories of his well-known twin brother, Beyond Birthday. L's nickname is "Late", but unlike the other children of Wammy's House is rarely uses the name.
Personality: Much like Near's, only he is a little more kind-hearted and not as obnoxious. He is wise and hides most of his knowledge from others in case any information is leaked. He also masks his emotions and keeps himself calm, even in situations where most people would break down or express their anger or sadness.
Voice: His English dub voice is definitely what he needs to sound like. When voice effects are needed I can create that. He barely has any emotion in his voice and is quite softly spoken.

[To Yoru after reuniting with him, talking about his confusion since he has just come back from the dead, also recalling the events with Light Yagami]
"I'm finding it difficult to understand my very reason to being here. I died seven years ago. The last thing I saw was Light Yagami grinning at me as I passed away in his arms. No doubt a lot of things have happened since then, such as his possible arrest..."
[In response to Yoru talking about how he wished he could have witnessed Light die himself]
"You let your emotions take over too much. Don't let such things happen. Soon enough you'll be sentencing innocent people you hate to death and protecting guilty people from the death sentence because you love them."
[Admitting to Yoru that he did not ever hate Light, explaining why. There may be some very slight sadness to his tone]
"...I did not hate Light Yagami. I never did and I don't suppose I ever will. After he killed me I suppose it would be natural to hate him, but you need to put yourself in his shoes. He was a school student who discovered a supernatural weapon. A new type of inhuman power. One item with the power to magically kill any human being he desired... it's not like he understood the consequences completely. After all, nobody knew anything about Death Notes. No laws said that they were an illegal weapon, and no consequences were planned for those who used one. So when Light reduced crime rates and killed criminals for a good purpose, he must have been terrified when I came along and threatened to have him killed. One of us had to kill the other in the end."
