Nice one! You did a wonderful job of delivering this script and the fact you are a teacher helped bring out that storybook tone effortlessly. I really enjoyed the part where you got all quiet when you said "the plan was a success". It immediately made it stand out and give it more importance so great job there. The only thing that stood out to me as an area for improvement was the "weird rare race" line sometimes got slurred or tongue twisted a couple of times. Fantastic job overall!

Good idea making this a read that fit something you are familiar with! This wasn't talked about a ton in class, but it's definitely a strength and a skill that will serve you well. The emphasis and the narrative tone combine well to entice and excite your listeners. I would recommend adding even more of this, perhaps with a bit more energy? Not that this read didn't have it, but I feel like a bit more, especially at various points of excitement, could be the cherry on top. This was one of my favorite performances, well done!
