Libby is a kind, yet awkward and unlucky girl who is also into history, conspiracy theories, and the supernatural.  Upon meeting and getting to know the new girl in her hometown of Brighton, Molly McGee, she wanted to become friends with her which Molly in return wanted to do as well.  However, due to Molly's other best friend who was a secret, a ghost named Scratch, some conflict came up where Libby became sus of Molly.  Due to what this was costing Molly, Scratch agreed to reveal himself to Libby for Molly's sake, but ONLY Libby.  After a rough start of getting to know each other, Libby and Scratch have also become friends, mainly on the grounds of protecting and poking fun at Molly's traits.

Libby is INCREDIBLY introverted and she only wants the right people in her life, and Molly as mentioned became one of those people as did later Scratch.  Due to this, Libby is considered an outcast by various people, but those who see and understand her like Molly truly understand what a good person Libby is.
