GILLBERT (he/him)

The founder of the Curl Up and Die Hotel, the protagonist’s living quarters throughout the game. He’s 50% fish, 50% man, and 100% proud business owner. Don’t you dare try and take that away from him.

Low-medium voice. A constant air of anxiety, but like he’s trying to convince you he has everything under control at all times. RP or Cockney Accent.

  • “I’m Gillbert! I’m the owner of Curl Up and Die! ... And the doorman, and the front-of-house worker, and the janitor, and I'm in charge of housekeeping, and room service, and advertisements, too!"

    [Flustered, but excited. Giddy to show off his achievements to his newest customer.]

  • “No problem at all! Your room is on the second floor at the end of the hallway. Best view of the lot, I think!"

    [Proud. Trying desperately to gain the protagonist’s respect.]

  • Please also make several sound effects: a laugh, a sigh, and a ‘ta-da!’ sound.
