This is the original Huntsman from the story but is an Old Hunter now but still in the fleet, having given his sword to Riding hood's cause and is forever loyal. He is the leader of the Huntsman’s guild, who are loyal to the Crown. He is strict when needed but has a soft spot for Lil. He is the grandfather of Hansel and Gretal and is very strict on them too as their father ran from home to avoid getting the ‘curse’. Not having raised the twins from kids has cause them to have a distant and strained relationship. Think of Hicup and his dad from HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON.

(The relationship is sort of strained between Hansel and his grandfather, the Huntsman, where Hansel cant always be honest and struggels when the huntsman tries to act warmly to him)

(Hansel) Oh sorry. Grandfather.
(The Huntsman) Oh sorry, I've made it weird havn't I...

(The Huntsman) Let me guess, marriage! It is about time that you have to think about the future.
