this is actually two characters, but they have the exact same voice. They are weasely yakuza types, although its never explicitly said that they are Yakuza in the game.

  • Way to make us feel appreciated, boss. 6 years you've had us as bodyguards and the only scratch on ya is cosmetic. but then you pick up this hobo and you give him a fancy robe and a sword!

  • We could sit on our asses and watch this guy cut an explosion, or we could be smart and go to the lifeboat. I vote lifeboat.
    *They are currently fleeing an exploding boat, so there needs to be urgency, but they are also fed up with the bosses obsession with gomon so there needs to be frustration as well*

  • oh that's a good one! A beaten up half dead twink with a sword is gonna take on a whole bunch of "indistinct Japanese gangsters" 
    *The pride comes before the fall, going for sadistic gloating as they stand over Goemon*
