Lumi and Cress: Original Motion Comic
Justice Williamson for Arthur Dyos
Black Male
Mid twenties
Standard North American accent
Mid to high masculine vocals
Very boisterous and emotive, as he’s someone trying their best to sound both dramatic and professional at any given time. Can easily lose his cool and raise his voice when challenged. Not in an exaggerated sense, he’s annoying to talk with most of the time but realistically so.
There will also be moments when his presence should be toned down for more down-to-earth moments. He has several conversations about his role and goals for the lab, and he mostly talks about them with his sister Lumi. Basically, be able to go from zero to one-hundred at any given moment.
“Hey! Listen to me! I’m telling you that this is going to be the discovery of a lifetime!”
[He's trying to pitch an idea to the board of scientists, he's going full salesman mode on this, though he's a bit too intense to be effective]“I know it’s been a long time, it’s just that… Things have changed a lot since then. We both know it.”
[A down to earth moment, take down the energy here, he's trying to console his sister]
“Yayyy! Thanks, Lumi! ‘Go girl you got this’ and all that. You know the drill, just send those over to Gabi and they'll do the rest okay bye!”
[Dismissive and quickly stated, he's practically pushing Lumi out the door. Be quick, but still intelligible]
