Paul is an engineer who works under the employ of a man named Rally. He is grumpy, distant, and not very talkative. Near the beginning of the story, he is in a bad accident alongside the player and Rally, which separates him from the group. After he is found again he is injured but in a lighter mood than before.

Audition Lines 

1) Player asks who Paul is, Paul reacts dismissively and as if he is bored.
2) Paul has been separated from the player after an accident and has just met them for the first time again. He asks where Rally is, but the player tells him that Rally didn't make it. He is sad and dejected about it.
3) Player asks how Paul is holding up after the accident. Paul sighs and acts sad, speaking in a complaining tone.
