Hey Piper - some good points for sure.....however you have to be careful not to compare to OLD SCHOOL READS - as they aren't current anymore. now they will likely use someone approachable and friendly (and likely youthful). HOWEVER having said that, you have a nice handle on the old school read here. But he is not organic, he is reciting lines because he was paid to - so finding a way to blend the ANNOUNCER with a real person who means what they are saying is the key to this kind of delivery. Love your pro - now we want to add the element of caring about what he is saying and how he wants to connect to the audience.
