Homura Akemi is a soft-spoken, very awkward girl. Despite having repeated the cycle approximately 100 times (about 8 years, fucking what?!) she still hasn’t gotten comfortable being around Madoka, who she has a huge crush on. She has a tendency to not say much out loud, relegating all of her deep emotional freakouts to internal monologue


For her voice, I’m looking for something softer in the lower register. She freaks out a lot in her inner monologues but her outward speech is usually quiet and reserved.


  • (Normal, but then she chokes mid-sentence) Hi *coughs* ahem, uh. Hey.

  • (awkward pleading): Just, stay normal. Please?

  • (Rambling) “Oh god am I staring? I’m totally staring! Just look away now, she won’t notice. Shit she noticed!”
