RyanMW for The Hacker
The Hacker is a very important character who's responsible for trapping James and Avery in Garry's Mod after they found an exploit in their hardware's code, as well as making them play games where they could easily be scarred or killed since they have complete control over their lives. They're the main antagonist of the series and they eventually reveal themselves and begin interacting with James, Avery and the audience who's watching the streams, although they remain anonymous. The Hacker's personality is very open-ended, but please make sure that your character is someone who wouldn't have any qualms with toying with and killing James and Avery.
Having a VR Headset isn't required to apply for this role.
Requirements:
-Please include your availability, including what days of the week you're available on, when you'll be available each day of the week and your time zone.
-Please run the test at https://www.speedtest.net/ and post your download and upload speeds.
-Please let us know if you have a copy of Garry's Mod, what VR headset you have, if you have one and how powerful your PC is.
-Please include your Discord Name/ID.
-The Hacker uses a voice changer in order to stay anonymous, so please use a voice changer in your audition. If you can't find a voice changer, then please use Voxel at https://www.nchsoftware.com/voicechanger/index.html.
-If there's anything else that you want to tell us, such as your previous work or why you're interested in the series, please let us know!
You're introducing yourself to James and Avery, who are your captives, for the first time and introducing yourself as the Hacker.
You're justifying or explaining why you're holding James and Avery captive, as well as what you plan on doing to them since you have complete control over them. You can also confirm with them that they're being watched by a live audience on Youtube.
You're congratulating one of your captives for clearing a game, although they're bleeding from several large cuts caused by some glass shards.
You can also improv something else for this prompt, but it has to make sense in the context of the series and if you need to give some context, please give it before you begin this prompt.
Hey there, Ryan! Thank you very much for your audition and I like how you added a twist to the third prompt, too. This series will be completely improvised, so being able to think of new twists and choices is really important! Your version of the Hacker is definitely the calmest that I've seen so far and thanks for submitting a thorough application.
Thank you, I imagined them as someone who feels they are in complete control of the situation. I work at an escape room so I often throw a little curve balls at guests to practice improv
