Archer excels in guerrilla tactics, including the use of poison, traps, and other underhanded tactics to achieve victory. Despite bitter complaints that he is unable to win in a fair fight in response to his Master's severe opposition to his methods, it is implied that Archer's reason for participating in the Holy Grail War is to act and be recognized as a true hero.”
