His time spent out hunting demons is on par to that of the time he spends locked into his room. A very precise and well spoken boy Katsuo is methodical in what he chooses to do and say, he has an air of grief about him but its never too present during conversation. When he's tired, he sounds as though he's just gotten up. When he is agitated however he does tend to sound more lively.

"You can be mad at me all you want, there was never a chance I was leaving before sunrise. You knew that."<Agitated but Focused>
"If I could finish this piece when I got back, we would be gone already! You're gonna have to wait for me to be done! Inspiration isn't something an artist can hold forever you've gotta let me finish!"<Indecisive, panicked>
"I don't think I can go without everyone, I can't handle something like this... Not on my own at least."
