Alyssa Cho was at first a shy and timid little girl that was home-schooled for most of her childhood. Eventually, she asked her parents to allow her to attend public school. On her first day she was so nervous she began talking to herself but was overheard by Shin-Ae, a fellow new student who did not judge her. The two became friends instantly. However, during her time as a middle school student, something bad happened between her and Shin-Ae that has yet to be revealed.

At some point, Alyssa became a celebrity and began a relationship with Yeong-Gi.

Alyssa made her first official appearance in Episode 55 arriving at the Kim Black and White formal with her sister Megan where she met Yeong-Gi waiting for her.
