CAUTION: This is the Gender-bent role of Raoul. All male-to-female roles should be singing an octave higher than the original and all female-to-male roles should be singing an octave lower than the original if possible!
Character: Christian’s childhood friend and eventual lover, she tried to win his love despite the seemingly indomitable rivalry looming in the background. She realized that it is not enough to be the opera’s new patron and was steadfast in her love for Christian. She promised a better life for Christian as mentioned in the song “All I Ask of You”.
Range: G#3 - G5 (Mezzo-soprano / Soprano)
