Though his avatar suggests he is the same age as Hakuno, Shinji is actually an eight-year-old gaming prodigy and hacker.”

Director’s Notes: Shinji is immature and extremely arrogant. He is simply a child who thinks he’s playing a video game. And as such he thinks he can get away with anything. Because he is using an avatar instead of his actual body, he should sound age appropriate for his avatar. Disclaimer: Shinji says some pretty unpleasant things at times. If you don’t think you’d be comfortable saying such things, this may not be the character for you.
