DarkHasayoVA for Izuku Midoriya (URGENT)
This role is for the major lead character in the abridged series. So if you get picked for this role, Please be ready to work in every episode of the abridged AND work closely with the team and the project. Also, This is an urgent role, meaning that we need this role filled as soon as possible. If you get chosen for Midoriya, be ready to begin work as soon as you were chosen for this part. Lastly, this version of Midoriya is quite the vulgar character. If you are not comfortable saying offensive lines, Do not audition for this part.
Izuku Midoriya's personality in this abridged series is quite different from how hes portrayed in the series. Midoriya is the typical scrawny kid you see in those 80's-90's high school/college movies who gets picked on and made fun of by the others in school. Because of this, hes got a bit of pent up rage and a foul mouth to go with it. He decides to finally stand up for himself and to stop being a whiny little push-over and thinks the best way to go about this is to find All-Might and convince him to give him his quirk so that he can "Become A God." Internally, he acts and think's like a vulgar, power-hungry bastard that thinks he's better than everyone cause he's got All-Mights power, but externally, he's just a whiny little pushover who think's he's all that.
For this role, were looking for an American teenager voice that's a bit whiny/dorky. We want to hear as many different takes and styles as possible for Izuku's voice. So do whichever voice you think would fir for an abridged Midoriya.
If you can sound like a Jaded Morty from Rick & Morty without the stutters or like Izuku Midoriya's Funimation Voice, its a plus, but not completely necessary.
(THIS LINE IS DURING THE HERO TEAM / VILLAIN TEAM FIGHT TRAINING WITH BAKUGO & IIDA VS MIDORIYA & URARAKA. IZUKU IS FIGHTING BAKUGO AS URARAKA RUNS OFF.)
(Winded, a bit shell-shocked) - "Did she seriously just run off to leave me to fight Hiroshima-reincarnated by myself?! JEEZ Not only am I fighting the man behind nine-eleven, but my partner’s a spineless—hot —but still spineless bitch!"
(THIS LINE IS A TWO-PARTER FROM THE ENTRANCE EXAMS WHERE MIDORIYA ONE SHOTS THE ZERO POINTER ROBOT AND SAVES URARAKA. AFTER HE PUNCHES THE ROBOT HE REALIZES HE CAN'T FLY AND IS FALLING TO THE GROUND.)
(Shocked) - "Holy Crap! Did I just turn that zero pointer int- Wait. oh fuck! I’m falling! Oh God! Alright, maybe All Might can fly. Maybe with this power i got, I’ll just start flying. If not, at least I have my super limbs to break my..."
*Realizes his limbs are broken & useless*
(Add a bit of resentment in this line, like you just found out All-Might screwed you over.)

(THIS LINE IS DURING THE CAFETERIA SCENE AFTER MIDORIYA GETS CHOSEN FOR THE CLSSS REP ROLE. IIDA JUST TOLD URARAKA & MIDORIYA ABOUT HIS RELATION TO THE FAMOUS & FILTHY RICH INGENIUM FAMILY AND THE TWO ARE SUDDENLY INTERESTED IN IIDA. BELOW IS MIDORIYA'S INTERNAL REACTION TO FINDING OUT TENYA IS RICH.)
(Internal, evenhanded, open) - Heh, So Iidas actually rich huh? Alright. The guys gotta massive stick up his ass and can be annoying as hell about the dress code, but I guess I can put up with him if he’s loaded. I mean sure Yaoyorozu’s loaded too, but there's no way she’d lend me 50 bucks if I asked… Wait, would Iida lend me cash if I asked? I mean, if I lie and say it’s for something school related, he might do it. Guess it wouldn’t hurt to find out.
This is actually the best Midoriya impression I've heard in my life. They could probably swap you with the original VA and nobody would notice.
