NOTE: This character will not be super prominent in chapter 1. Berdly is an arrogant teen who considers himself one of the smartest students in the class. His voice should sound snarky and nasally. Baritone-Tenor range. (Note: Remember each character should have at least a minute of singing).
Noelle! My lady! The cavalry has already arrived to rescue you!
Kris have you seen…KRIS?! We took a break from trucing for ONE second! And you’re ALREADY back with Susie? Should have expected this…hmph. You couldn’t keep up with my puzzle solving skills!
That’s when I tasted it. The praise, the glory, the SUPERIORITY! The addictive POWER of being…SMART! Since then, year after year, I’ve been number one in the class…but it’s only because Noelle helps me study. She’s…the real smart kid. But everyone’s expectations for ME are so high now…what am I going to do once I go somewhere without her?
The voice is very good, and your singing is really good! Do you happen to have a pop filter? You have a lot of pops in your audition which a pop filter could easily remedy. Also, I would love to hear a more energetic take of this audition. While the voice is very good, Berdly is a comedic character who has a lot of energy. I absolutely love the voice however and your singing is amazing! Thank you for your audition!
