Because she is a homunculus created specifically to participate in the Holy Grail War, she does not appear to follow her own will and considers herself a tool of her teacher. She uses her ability to read the stars in addition to her powerful Magecrafts to help both Hakuno and herself. Unlike most Masters, she does not desire to acquire the Grail, but to follow her teacher's instruction to find a ‘special person.’ Her conditioning has resulted in her lack of understanding of what acceptable social conventions are.”

Director’s Notes: Rani will be a little tough to pull off, as she is somewhat emotionless, but not entirely monotone. She is a puppet but it is important to remember she’s also an actual person in this world.
