THE last Ronin. Michelangelo is FAR from a party dude for a majority of this comic. He's dark, brooding, and has a chip on his shoulder. A lot like his character in the 2003 3-part episode Same As it Never Was (see link in description). Definitely try to see if you can mask the Michelangelo-ness in the voice for the first line.

  • (sneaking through the water outside of New York, narrating)

"The water is cold. Like ice. Smells...wrong too. Tastes worse I guess after decades of pollution and global warming, it's all kinds of nasty. Definitely not fit for human survival. That's okay. I'm not human. And I've got plenty of my own nasty."

  • (Blowing up at the ghost of Raphael. Almost mournful of his situation and that his family isn't there anymore)

"You stupid, pathetic FOOL! You always make our entire life all about you! I fought every battle you have--even the idiotic ones you started! And you still wanna judge me!? You knew what my mission was in the tower! A one-way ticket from the start! For our father, for our family, for our...honor..."

  • (training Casey, sparring in between comments)

"*after receiving a light kick* White belt quality kick...Hm. Okay...Maybe Yellow Belt...Nice push. Got anything to back it up?"

    Casey: " I'll show you!"

"Show me what?...How to miss your opponent again? Back to square one."

Thanks mengs! I had to spend a lot of time with the source reference because all the inclinations to do the 90s surfer Mike I know and love are really ingrained in my grey matter. Cowabunga, dudes!
