Sonic's loyal buddy from the very start, Tails is an eight year old fox who loves to tinker and invent. A literal child genius, he acts mature for his age, accompanying his speedy friend as the straight man in most cases. Tails has his own plane, workshop, and home where he builds and tinkers. He has even been able to stand on his own against his intellectual enemy, Dr. Eggman.
For his voice, I'm open to any interpretation, but I prefer the slants these VA provide: Kate Higgins and Colleen O'Shaughnessey
(Encouraging) Don't worry, Amy! We've beaten Eggman countless times before! We can do it again!
(Sad) I...I'm sorry, Sonic. I-I wasn't able to get the data in time.
(Building up to frustration) Maybe if I changed the wires...but then the power won't be carried in the current very well...maybe I can try altering the...no, that won't work either! Ugggghh, this is hopeless!
Hello! I like the slant you've got for Tails, and I can tell you're passionate about this character! A few points I'd like to speak about: Your audio is very low, making it difficult to hear your performance. If you have a mic with a gain on it, try turning it up but not so much as you're peaking in the performance. Also, on the first line, you keep saying "We beaten Eggman..." instead of "We've beaten Eggman...". Also, you didn't sound quite as sad in the second line either. Your emoting for the other lines were excellent, and I love how you mixed it up a little as well! If you would like to audition again, feel free to do so before the deadline!
Thank you so much for your opinion! I've loved all the sonic series up from SA1 and more. My main passion for voicing in the franchise is, in fact, Tails, because he's such a dynamic and fun character in the entire series. I would love to do a retake of him if you would like!
