Kirito also known as Kazuto Kirigaya is the main protagonist of the Sword Art Online series, at the beginning of the series he's a teenager but in the third arc he's nearly a young adult at the age of 17, same age as Eugeo. Kirito is mostly calm and collected, rarely showing any form of distress and is quick to adapt to new things for his survival, knowledge and skills. Kirito is actually quite kind, even willing to sacrifice his life for others and has shown to have strong emotions hiding behind his cool exterior. He has a strong resolve willing to accomplish anything without hesitation and carries trauma from his past and current experiences in the virtual world. He is Eugeo's best friend and is Asuna's current girlfriend/lover.
