Description: a sophomore who is Amber’s best friend. Like Amber, he is very shy, but as he grows, he becomes more protective of Amber and their relationship. Kai aspires to be an author and has already published a few. They haven’t done as well as he hoped, so he visits the theatre rehearsals to gain inspiration.
Voice Range: Medium/Mid-High
Sexuality: I am unsure of right now, but I’m leaning towards either gay or asexual.
Other Notes: Similar to Amber, I need someone who can show the different personalities of Kai. He is very shy when talking to others, but acts very excited when talking to Amber or talking about something he enjoys, such as writing. I also need someone who is able to yell once Kai gains his courage further into the story.
(comforting Amber after she's been bullied) What a jerk. Are you alright? That guy’s been picking on you a lot lately.
(shy, flustered) I-I am a writer...but my books haven't been doing as well as I'd hoped. I want to get better, but I just can't find the right story... Oh! I-I'm sorry! I'm rambling, aren't I?
(standing up for Amber, confident) Hey! Get your hands off of her! She didn't do anything to hurt you!
