Pat is the [somewhat abusive] single mother to Kess and Alan Jones, I must say this role must be given an extreme trigger warning as she is verbally abusive in several scenes, and is also somewhat )implied to be agoraphobic. She appears in chapters three and four. Pat is known for having a very short temper and demanding demeanor. although she acts terribly towards Alan, to Kess, although she isn't perfect, she is much more caring and tends to genuinely try her hardest as a mother.
[very angry, yelling] I’ll call the police and you know what they’ll do? They’ll break your window. They’ll smash your window and come into your precious room and they’ll drag you out by the scrap of your neck, and by the time you're back, you won’t have a door to block. Because this is MY house.
