Your overall read is definitely smooth and clear. I do wish to share that it feels like the sudden burst of surprise-energy after "he drew tortoises" caught me by surprise, but in a bad way. The sudden jump of intensity was quite startling. Do consider a gradual climb as sometimes, the sudden increase in volume can be detrimental.

Great work here! Make sure you are pronouncing every word both clearly and correctly (ex. "peculiar" instead of "perculiar, "tortoises" instead of "tortisees). Articulation is always number one, so continue emphasizing that aspect of VO in the homework going forward. If we work out certain "muscles" in our skillset, even if we do so through over-articulating, we can always pull back whenever we need to. I also think you could bring more energy overall to your read, especially since you are most likely narrating to an audience of children, who LOVE passion and excitement in their stories! Overall, keep working on these various aspects of VO while also strengthening the foundation you already have. Nicely done!
