As described in the summary of the casting call, the most important thing is the accent to be somewhat credible and the performance believable. The animation is slightly fantastical, so dry realism isn't necessary, but the presence of a South Gloucestershire background is what I'm after.
My name is Edward Jenner, and I have been studying smallpox for some time. This story isn't about me, but about a brave young boy. This is James Phipps, he's volunteered to help me prove my hypothesis and perhaps save millions.
I really like the quality you gave to the voice, definitely sounds an older refined gent. I also think the accent is done nicely, really good stuff! Not comical but definitely distinct. My musician has crafted up a sample "mood" for the piece. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday I shall the animation completed so I can email it to you, if you'd still be interested?
