Topaz is a loyal and determined soldier but can be easily embarrassed by off handed comments. Though she can find herself doubting her abilities at times she has found her companionship with the incredibly confident Rouge the Bat to be helpful in boosting her own confidence, so much so that she can easily and happily sass Rouge back as hard she she gets it. She's highly trained in the use of firearms and espionage and is extremely physically fit.

Topaz should sound like someone who has a lot of experience in the field but consistently doubts herself for not being even more experienced. She lets herself get obviously embarrassed by jokes and has to overcompensate for her awkwardness with loud and abrasive retorts towards her inferiors when they start laughing or giggling at her expense. She knows they don't respect her and she's more than willing to put her foot down. Despite this she is still a good natured person looking to do the right thing and protect the earth.
