Shi Xue, style Dingsu (pronounced She SH-ue, Ding-Sue) 

Shi Xue is a older figure within the men that Wen Zhu first encounters in the story. Shi Xue is a middle aged man, around his forties. He tends to have a more neutral position on things, but often points out things that he feels should be taken notice of or looked into further. He isn't particularly hopeful for the way the Han Dynasty is heading, but is proud to the new generations fighting for their home.

He doesn't much talk about where he came from, at best he will admit that he enjoys traveling. Though some in camp can't help but feel there is more to this man than meets the eye.
