Junambo for Peter Quince
He's the leader of the bunch, you know him well- Jokes aside, he is the head of the craftsman's acting guild. He's trying his best to be a good leader, but with Bottom on the job, he doesn't have much to show for it.
He's a peasant carpenter and is rather casual and crass
Accents aren't necessary, but feel free to have fun with the peasants!
He's rational, monotone, and patient as heck --until he's not
1-3 takes per line, however many you're comfortable with
He's written as a man, but we'll take any gender!
Anyway gentlemen, here are your scripts. And I beg you... please learn them by tomorrow night. Meet me in the forest just outside of town. Make sure you're all there!
Wow, you all are right on time. This is the perfect place to rehearse. We'll use this clearing as our stage... and that hawthorn bush can be our dressing room. Alright, let's put on this play exactly as we'll perform it for the duke.
That's 'Ninus's grave' not 'Ninny's grave.' And don't say all of that yet. You're supposed to say some of it as a reply to Pyramus, and you just said everything, cues and all... Pyramus, enter. You missed your cue. 'Never tire.'
OOOH!! Thank you for the range of voices! I adore the way you ad-libbed with each different portrayal, like how the second time he was a lot more confident and commanding, and the third time he felt more like he was nudging. This was really entertaining to listen to, thanks for the fun audition!
Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it!
