Kevi Tran is a teenager from Neighbor, Michigan. She is the daughter of Lenor Tran. Her mother died when she was a child. Kevi was in advanced placement, and plays the cello. When the first Word of Godtablet is unearthed, Kevi is called as a prophet. The angel Hester refers to Kevi as "the sole keeper of the Word on Earth." Kevi becomes a target because of her ability to read and interpret the tablets. She had to learn the hard way how to survive when Samantha and Deanna disappear for a year. A big part about Kevi that that she just wanted to be a noramal person, but she adjusted into this life pretty soon after.
This is when Castiel asks Kevi to translate an Angel Tablet, although Kevi has her doubts. You can either read Samantha, Deanna, and Cas's lines or ignore them.
KEVI
Is this a joke?
CASTIELLENo. It's the word of God.
KEVIWhat?
DEANNAIt's a tablet. All right? Translate. It's what you do.
KEVI[chuckles] Okay. Um, it's the Angel Tablet, which I've never laid eyes on in my life. You want a translation in like six hours when it took me six months and a dead father to translate a piece of the Demon Tablet? [chuckles again] And according to your own words, this morning, this is not what I do. It's what I *did*. You told me I was out, Deanna.
DEANNAYeah, well...
KEVIAnd if this is going to be the "Guys Like Us are Never Out" speech, save it.
This is dialouge between Kevi and her father after he dumps holy water on her after she comes back. You can either read Mr. Tran's lines or ignore them.
KEVI
Dad! You've got to stop drowning me in holy water every time I go out!
I'm not possessed!
MR TRAN
Not yet. Not now. They got to me, remember?
KEVI
We've got hex bags that make us invisible to demons. We've got demon traps painted everywhere! I've got a sigil tattooed on my arm! If we just keep moving, we'll be fine!
MR TRAN
What, and keep living in rat-infested hovels and running from cursed creatures? This is no life!
KEVI
It's my life. I'm the one dragging the prophet load. I'm sorry I pulled you into it.
MR TRAN
Don't be sorry. Be ready. We've got to stop running and start taking a stand. [He unpacks food from the plastic bag.]
KEVI
Okay, you know that's crazy.
MR TRAN
No, it's not! Not if we have the bomb you used on Crowley's demons.
KEVI
The thing I made had ingredients from all over the world. All right? Demons had to get the stuff.
MR TRAN
That's why I went to an expert.
KEVI
What? Who?
MR TRAN
I hired a witch.
KEVI
A witch?
MR TRAN
Off of Craigslist. His name is Deltar Mendota, and he is a smart cookie. He's scrappy, reliable, and he's willing to kill. Look, I'm your father, and I did this for you.
KEVI
What makes you think you can trust him?
MR TRAN
I don't. That's why I didn't give him the exact quantities or tell him how to blend them. He's in the dark.
KEVI
You told him we were making demon bombs!
MR TRAN
Yeah, and that got him super motivated. Oh! Time for Deltar to check in.
KEVI
Oh, my God.
