Jet is a grouchy child who often speaks through his teeth to express frustration or indignance.  He can have a lower voice, but for comedy’s sake the comic creator’s headcanon voice for this character was actually rather similar to Sean Giambrone’s, to poke fun at his “puny” look despite trying to act like a tough character.
