    BANKS: And?

    INITIATE #2: (deflated) And someone named “Elizabeth Kirby.” Is “unaffiliated” her last name?

    BETH: No, it is not.

    INITIATE #2: I’m sorry, sir, I saw the first couple of names and just assumed it was all Brotherhood personnel. And I figured she was just one of the Scribe’s... fans, trying to get some facetime with her.

    BANKS: We don’t “assume” in the Brotherhood. When you get sloppy like that, lives can be lost. And have been lost.

    INITIATE #2: I’m sorry, sir. And I’m sorry, ma’am.

    BANKS: Just make sure you use this as a learning experience.
