This character is an Etheric being, and as such can have any accent. His name is pronounced RENNER-Deen, according to the creator of the comics.
This character is a Lead Role, and has many lines in more than half the chapters for Book 1, Part 1.

Personality (taken from the Gunnerkrigg wiki, with a few minor edits for spoiler reasons)
- Reynardine is an etheric [being, demon?] with the ability to possess others' bodies. He is currently imprisoned within Antimony Carver's stuffed wolf doll.

My Notes
Reynardine is extremely mischievous and conniving. The adults of the Court seem to think he's nefarious. His motives are often unclear. He plays the role of an antagonist at first, but over time warms up to both Antimony and Kat, even attempting to save Annie from danger at one point. Grandiose in speech, and sharp of wit, his lines are often used for exposition, comedic inappropriate comments, or scathing jabs at other characters. The dichotomy between his large voice and tiny body is quite comedic.

  • [Upon first encountering Antimony, he mistakes her for her deceased mother, Surma. His emotions here are complicated, but he seems to have cared for Surma deeply.]

Surma? Is that really you? Oh, how many years it has been…

  • [After accidentally possessing Antimony's stuffed toy of a wolf, Reynardine is trapped in its body, and since the toy belongs to Antimony, he is now under her orders.]

Oh, don't be so melodramatic, child! I can do nothing to harm you now. In fact, I can barely do anything at all, thanks to you and your accursed toy. Look!

  • [Reynardine casually interrupts a tender moment of friendship between Annie and Kat with a comment he knows will get a rise out of them.]

Are you two going to kiss now? Because I’d be interested in watching.
