A first-year at Shirojo, and the daughter of a contractor. Despite her small appearance, Maki is incredibly strong… physically, at least. She ends up falling in love with her third-year senpai, Aihara Miki, at the beginning of the year, and is the first girl that Yuna helps. Like her senpai, Maki is kind and helpful, but more excitable and impulsive.
(Maki’s voice is a bit like Megumi’s; mid-high to high, and filled with energy. She should sound young to emphasize the age and maturity difference between her and Miki, but not so young that she sounds prepubescent, being that she is still a high schooler. Beyond that, the all-important emotion to nail is her complete and total love for and devotion to her senpai.)
Aah, umm, I know it's weird to say this! I know I'm a girl, and you're a girl too, Senpai, but...! I love you, Senpai! R-Really! I know it's weird, and that you might think I'm weird, but...! I... love you! (Confession scene. Embarrassed, but determined.)
Ahh, geez, I guess I'll just have to work my hardest! I'll just say "Leave the heavy lifting to me!" (Trying to get herself pumped. A little upset, but again, determined.)
You push all this work onto Miki-san, and you just kick back, AND THEN YOU LAUGH AT HER?! DO IT AGAIN! CALL MIKI-SAN A MASOCHIST AND LAUGH AT HER! I F**KING DARE YOU! (She heard some seniors talking smack about her senpai and she is letting out all her pent-up rage. If you're gonna go all out on any line, make it this one.)
