Personality (taken from the Gunnerkrigg wiki, with a few minor edits for spoiler reasons)
- Generally, Antimony presents herself as very calm and collected, never showing fear or doubt in the face of danger. As a result of spending the first eleven years of her life in a hospital, interacting only with her parents, [...] she had virtually no opportunities to socialize with people her own age. In addition to this, her mother's illness [and father's absence] meant she had to become fairly self-sufficient and learn not to rely on adults for help. Over time, this morphed into an intense distrust of authority, which often gets her into trouble.
- Despite her upbringing, her personality begins to (very slowly) shift when she arrives at the Court and meets Kat, who quickly becomes her best friend. She is shown to be much more open and emotive around Kat, but still struggles significantly with being emotionally vulnerable.

My Notes
Annie is very logical and level headed, almost to the point of being cold. (This is very likely due to her father's influence.) She never got to mourn her mother's death properly, and is generally pretty traumatized, some of which is due to growing up in a hospital instead of a home. Despite this, she has a kind heart, even with her analytical style of thinking. After meeting Kat, she starts to loosen up a bit and take more opportunities to just be a kid.

  • [ One of Antimony's narrative/introductory lines. Her dry observational wit sets the tone for the story. ]

Within the first week of my attendance, I began noticing a number of strange occurrences. The most prevalent of these oddities being the fact that I seemed to have obtained a second shadow.

  • [ In this line, Antimony is finally breaking down her usually stoic exterior as she mourns for her dead mother. ]

(sobbing) Oh! I miss her so much! I couldn't do anything for her. I could only watch as she… She…

  • [ Here, Antimony is completely unperturbed after meeting a ghost, and instead is helping to give him some constructive criticism on how to be more scary. ]

Well, while I can appreciate your classic look, I don’t think anyone has been scared of the “bedsheet phantasm” ensemble for a long time.
