Taihei Doma is the brother of our protagonist Umaru Doma, and is the more responsible of the two. Although he is stuck dealing with Umaru's constant bullshiet, he manages to keep a cool head in public and in front of others. He constantly points out to the other characters when Umaru shows her true colors, but due to the power of anime, it is still never noticed. He also has a terminal illness towards *inhales* PLOT PROGRESSION, which essentially means he never catches on to Umaru's change of attitude (if any) or Ebina's very obvious crush on him.

    [After he buys Umaru said manga immediately after]
    (Regretfully to himself internally)
    "Shit, I fell for the adorable sister act again..."
