Anton's a bit of a lost soul, having lost his wife and daughter in the upheaval going on around them, but finding Eva has reignited a familiar love within him and seems to give him a brief second-chance to do what is right. He's a brief father figure to Eva, who gives her a bit of normality despite the situation that they're in, and like Miroslava, has a dedication to Eva and her plight to be reunited with Lisah, even if the task isn't so easy.
