A skilled fence who has been long known to the Riften Thieves' Guild, but has dragged her feet about actually working with them, Tonilia is blunt and a little haughty -- but when you're walking, talking proof that the merchant's trade is more than buying and selling, you don't have to hide your opinions. Lately, Delvin has been trying to persuade Tonilia to join the Thieves' Guild, and Vekel has put in a word for her marrying him and moving down into the Flagon permanently to help him run it instead of just fencing their stolen goods. She's flattered by both of their offers, but she still has wanderlust in her feet. So she continues to drift between the world of the respectable and the world of the disreputable, in no hurry to be convinced of anything. Contrary to her drifting nature, her speech is brisk verging on the impatient and almost always forceful. 

Her accent should eventually match that of her aunts, Margyndi and Zariina, but does not need to mimic her vanilla voice.
