Josh is a brat. Long story short.  He has popularity and his home life is so-so average, but he's a kid who lives on the edge looking for trouble and reveling in the power hold he has over others. Making Matt cry is his drug. However, as time evolves, Matt's kindness rubs on him and Josh is the type of character where he bullies for attention but once Matt starts being his "friend" he doesn't know how to act.
