Eledhel has learned to play to expectations. If people are going to look at her and see a dangerous cannibal witch, then that's what she's going to give them. She knows it isn't doing her people any favors to lean-in to stereotype like that, but how else is she supposed to entertain herself while she's locked in Whiterun's jail? That never should have happened--the Night Market wasn't a legitimate trading hub, perhaps, but it wasn't hurting anyone either--but "should have" carries no water...or blood, or more interesting mixtures. And Eledhel always knew how to tell a damn good story. She's good at adopting a suitable persona for her tales, too, be that cackling madwoman or mysterious alchemist or, yes, sly cannibal Bosmer.
