Sapphire (a moniker of her own choosing, after her affinity for the gem) is a surly Nord woman and a member of the Riften Thieves Guild. Her life before joining the Guild ended abruptly in tragedy and trauma (hence the new name) and she is consequently untrusting. Her words are often sarcastic and impatient, particularly when speaking with people she doesn't know well. Because she prefers to keep others at arm's-length, that's pretty much everyone. 

It is not necessary for the voice actor to attempt to mimic her vanilla voice.

In addition to her significance as a major Thieves Guild character, with lines referencing the quests and other guild members, Sapphire is a FOLLOWER and the central character in her own side quest, with accompanying dialogue. Echoes expands on Sapphire’s character and backstory, so applicants need to be comfortable recording lines that reference dark and triggering subjects.
