Instead of looking at portfolios of work previously done, I would like this audition to be a proposed sketch of what your vision for this book cover would be. 

The book is a collection of monologues and poetry, that tell a story about a murder that takes place at a night lounge during a poetry slam. I don't have any set thoughts in my head as to what this image would be, so I would like to see your imagination and creativity at work here. 

For this auditiopn I am looking for a cover image with font at the top that reads "Who Killed the Words?"

Details about the story:

there is a detective and a transcriber 

20 poets that are all suspects

a few lounge employees also suspects

and a few audience members also suspects

the victim died on stage right after her performance when the lights went out.

the lights came back on and the she was found dead on stage.
